At Impact 101, our mission is to restore hope, strengthen families, and empower individuals to create brighter futures. We are committed to uplifting the Greater Bridgeport community through programs that foster connection, responsibility, and resilience.

Our Goal

To provide transformative support and guidance that helps fathers reconnect with their children, teens gain confidence and direction through mentorship, and youth develop character through sports. We aim to build lasting foundations of trust, purpose, and empowerment for families and individuals alike.

Meet Our Founder

Sal Hanaif

Founder

Impact101

Sal Hanaif is the visionary behind Impact 101, a community-centered initiative rooted in the Greater Bridgeport area. With over 18 years of experience in family engagement and youth development, Sal has dedicated his life to empowering fathers, mentoring teens, and building stronger communities.

As a Fatherhood Facilitator, Sal has led more than 850 fatherhood group sessions, working with over 585 fathers, many referred through the Department of Children and Families (DCF), Bridgeport Board of Education, and other community providers. His work includes conducting over 400 home visits, offering hands-on support to help fathers reconnect with their children and embrace their roles with purpose and accountability. Sal also worked with incarcerated young fathers at Manson Youth Institution, guiding them toward personal growth and responsible fatherhood.

In 2016, Sal served as the lead consultant with Supports for Pregnant & Parenting Teens (SPPT), helping to launch teen fatherhood programs in four additional cities across Connecticut—New Haven, New Britain, Hartford, and Waterbury. His leadership in this initiative expanded critical

Impact 101 is a community-focused organization based in the Greater Bridgeport area, dedicated to empowering families and individuals through mentorship, education, and engagement. Our fatherhood program supports men in rediscovering their roles and responsibilities as fathers. We also offer mentorship for high school students, helping teens navigate challenges and build a vision for their future. Additionally, our youth soccer initiative promotes physical activity, teamwork, and perseverance. Through every initiative, we aim to inspire growth, healing, and long-term success.
